While we were at the beach last month, 

my sweet niece colored the picture of her and me, 

complete with Bert and Ernie, my crutches. 

Or, as they are sometimes referred to by her sweet younger sister, 

Bernie and Ernie. 

(Bert's new name tickles me to no end.)
