Savoring January Day 3 :: Soothe

After a "mixer" for work,
grateful for some soothing quiet time
with my sweet circle of angels
who ever gently remind me to be Grounded
and Abide in this very moment.

Retreat Refreshment

Went to a lovely day-retreat today at an old house that has been remodeled to be a cozy
retreat center with lots of beautiful windows
.
From the wise, compassionate, and always a little playful speaker, to the gift of "just
happening" to sit by and get to share with a kind, resonate soul, to the yummy summer's
bounty lunch eaten in silence, this warm, welcoming home held us all.
.
I am so grateful this evening, feeling content and refreshed in body, mind, and soul.

Quiet Light (and Love)

Thinking of my family,
missing them and sending love.

Thinking of my aunt in particular
(who is really suffering)
and holding her in the Light of Love
and Peace.

Blessing Basking :: Day 16

Today I am grateful for
the quiet nourishment
found
in between the covers of a book
while tucked up
in a soft, beige down comforter.

Blessing Basking :: Day 7

Today this water baby
is very grateful for some time to luxuriate
in a hot bath with a book.

One Self-Care Move

With my hand over my heart, I took a quiet moment at work to read John O'Donohue's "For a New Home" from his book, "To Bless the Space Between Us."

This is becoming a very meaningful daily practice for me because, as I read his blessing, I gently remind myself that I am coming home into my heart more and more each day.

It touches my heart each time.

Moment of Stillness

Took a few moments at lunchtime to take 5 deep breaths.

I am taking Liz Lamoreux's Water Your Mama Soul e-course
(again) and feel so grateful for
a wonderful way to begin the summer.
